Kids privacy statement

Last updated: April 2026

This statement describes the data Pixlland Kids (kids.pixlland.com) does and does not collect from players under 13. It is written with COPPA (United States), the GDPR-K child-consent rules (EU/EEA), the UK Age-Appropriate Design Code, and the LGPD (Brazil — Art. 14 children) in mind. The general Pixlland privacy statement still applies; this page calls out what is different on Kids.

1. Who this is for

Pixlland Kids is built for children under 13 and is safe for anyone under 16 who prefers a stricter experience. Adults are welcome to browse, but the catalog is curated for the younger audience.

2. What we never collect on Kids

  • No accounts. Kids does not offer sign-in. There is no email address, no Google / Apple login, no password on Kids.
  • No personal identifiers. We do not ask for name, birthday, phone, school, or location more precise than the coarse country already sent by the browser headers.
  • No behavioral profile. We do not build a cross-site advertising profile of the child. Ads, when shown, are contextual only (matched to the page topic).
  • No chat, no UGC, no third-party social sharing. Games with open chat, a username broadcast to other players, or user-generated rooms are excluded from the Kids catalog.
  • No analytics cookies. Page-view counting on Kids uses a cookieless beacon: it counts that a page was viewed, never who viewed it.

3. What we do collect and why

  • Game progress in your browser. Favorites and recently played games are stored in localStorage on the device. Nothing is sent to our servers.
  • Request headers. Like any website, we receive your IP address and browser user-agent on each request. We use the IP only to detect abuse and to serve the correct language; we do not retain raw IP logs beyond 30 days.
  • Error reports. If the page crashes we capture a stack trace (no personal data) to fix the bug. This is aggregated and deleted after 90 days.

4. Advertising on Kids

We show contextual ads only. A contextual ad is chosen by the topic of the page (e.g. a shoe ad next to a racing game). It is not chosen by a profile of the child or by what the child browsed elsewhere. We disable Google's personalized advertising flag on every Kids request, and we do not use cookie-based retargeting on Kids.

5. Third-party game embeds

Every game on Kids is reviewed before it appears. We block games that request identifiers, ship behavioral ads, open chat, or send the player off-site mid-game. If a dev update breaks these rules we remove the game within 24 hours of discovery.

6. Parental rights

Under COPPA, GDPR, LGPD, and similar laws, the parent or legal guardian has the right to review what data we hold about the child, ask us to delete it, and refuse further collection. Because Kids does not collect personally identifying data, there is usually nothing to review or delete — but if you have a specific question, email privacy@pixlland.com from an address tied to the child and we will respond within 5 business days. We do not ask for government ID.

7. International transfers

Pixlland infrastructure is hosted on Vercel (United States) and Cloudflare (global). Request logs may be processed in those regions. All provider contracts include GDPR/LGPD standard clauses. No child data is transferred to a country without an adequacy decision.

8. Changes to this statement

We will post any material change here and note the date at the top. If the change expands what we collect from children, we will also show a parents-first banner for at least 30 days before it takes effect.
