1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Pixlland platform (pixlland.com), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Pixlland is a free HTML5 games platform that runs directly in the browser, with no downloads. We provide hosting, curation, monetization, and distribution of HTML5 games licensed by their authors or studios — under a non-exclusive publishing agreement. We accept proprietary games (you keep IP ownership) and also open-source games published under permissive or copyleft licenses.
3. Permitted use
You may:
- Play any game available on the platform for free.
- Share links to games and pages on Pixlland.
- Create an account to save favorites and preferences.
- Submit your HTML5 game (proprietary or open-source) for curation.
4. Prohibited use
You may not:
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with the platform's security systems.
- Use bots, scrapers, or automation to access the service abusively.
- Submit content that violates copyright, is illegal, or is harmful.
- Attempt to embed Pixlland games into third-party sites without express authorization.
5. Third-party content
The games available on the platform include (a) Pixlland Studios originals, (b) proprietary third-party games published under non-exclusive license, and (c) open-source games published under permissive or copyleft licenses (MIT, GPL, Apache, CC0, etc.). In every case, Pixlland preserves author credits and attribution on the game page. The specific terms for each game (license or contract) are reflected in the footer of its play page.
6. Advertising
The platform is funded by ads displayed during use. A portion of the revenue is shared with the game developers. Learn more at Pixlland for Developers.
7. Liability
Pixlland provides the service "as is", without guarantees of continuous availability. We are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the platform.
8. Changes to the terms
We reserve the right to update these terms. Significant changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after changes implies acceptance.
