Thrust your wireframe ship through inertia-driven space and shoot asteroids into smaller chunks until the field is clear.. Try it now on Pixlland — no downloads, no sign-up, ready to play right in your browser on any device.
A faithful take on Atari’s wireframe space shooter. Your ship drifts with real momentum in zero gravity — thrust to build speed and it keeps coasting until you turn and burn the other way. Shoot the floating rocks to split them: big asteroids break into mediums, mediums into smalls, smalls into nothing. Clear the whole field to roll into the next, busier wave, and watch for the saucer that warps in to hunt you.
Tap thrust in short bursts. Holding it builds momentum you cannot easily kill, and drifting into a rock at speed is how most runs end.
Do not shatter every rock at once — a screen full of small, fast fragments is far deadlier than a few big slow ones.
Save hyperspace for emergencies only. It can drop you right on top of an asteroid, so it is a gamble, not a plan.
