Combine tiles, reach 2048. Try it now on Pixlland — no downloads, no sign-up, ready to play right in your browser on any device.
Slide all tiles in one of four directions. When two tiles with the same number touch, they merge into one — two 2s become a 4, two 4s become an 8, and so on. Every move spawns a new tile on the board, so space runs out fast: the game ends when the grid is full and no merges are left. Reach the 2048 tile to win, then keep going for a higher score.
Pick one corner and keep your biggest tile parked there — most players use the bottom-right. Avoid pressing the one direction that would pull it out of place.
Build a "snake" of descending values along the edge leading into your corner. Merges then chain naturally instead of scattering big tiles across the board.
Never make a move just because you can. One careless swipe that shifts your corner stack is how most 2048 runs die.
