Sweep your shooter along the rim of warped 3D tubes and blast bugs climbing toward you — a JS take on Atari's Tempest.. Try it now on Pixlland — no downloads, no sign-up, ready to play right in your browser on any device.
A JavaScript take on Atari’s Tempest. You pilot a claw-shaped ship that slides around the rim of a deforming 3D tube while enemies crawl up the lanes toward you from the depths. Fire down the lanes to destroy them before they reach the edge and grab you. Clear a tube and you zoom down into the next one, with the geometry and enemy mix shifting as you go.
Stay mobile along the rim. Camping one lane lets enemies climb the others unchecked and pincer you from both sides.
Shoot enemies while they are still deep in the lane. The closer they get to the edge, the less room you have to react.
Save your superzapper for a packed rim. Wasting it on a couple of stragglers leaves you defenseless when a real swarm arrives.
